Duplicates lines in a report

Review and adjust entities and associations in your report to avoid duplicate or extra rows in your results.

Written by Cristiana Ghinea

When creating a report the entities that you use can cause duplication or additional rows in the results, depending on how they link together.

Check and adjust entity associations

Use only the entities you need, and carefully review how they link together to ensure accurate outputs.

  1. Click Associations.

  2. Review the Entity and Join To columns to confirm each entity is joined to the correct entity.

  3. In the Using/Where column, check that entities are joined on the fields you expect.

  4. Amend these as required, though some joins may not be available.

Remove duplicate rows

If your associations are set up correctly but you still see duplicate rows, select Properties, then select Unique Rows to hide any exact duplicates in your results.

📌 Note: There are many different entities and ways that they link. If you require further assistance with your report, please reach out to us via the Digital Assistant and provide us with as many details as possible so we can investigate and assist.
