Once people have been invited to the event and are aware of who is coming, start the booking process.

This is done through the Booking Wizard on the Events form. This will then go to the Bookings form where it's possible to book attendees on to specific event components, such as training, seminars, accommodation etc. and take payment for the booking.

To book a selection of people on to an event quickly, use the quick booking method on the Invitees tab of the Events form.

πŸ“Œ Note: Make sure the event is at the 'Booking' stage of the process.

Creating a booking

  1. From the Events ribbon tab, select the Create Booking button.

  2. The Booking Wizard will appear with the following sections to complete:

    • Details

    • Select Tickets

    • Additional Attendees

    • Booker Details

    • Payment Details

  3. This will automatically take the user to the Bookings form at the 'Set Extras' Workflow stage.

Stage 1: Select Extras

Make sure to be on the Bookings form, with the booking record on screen. (If the booking record isn't in view, use the Quick Search field and search for the booker's name). At this stage, the user will be able to book the attendees onto specific event components, such as training courses, seminars, accommodation, seating plans etc. Make sure these components have been set up for the event (click on the link to find out how to add components). It is also possible to add extra attendees, add charges and cancel a booking at this stage as well.

Stage 2: Confirmed

At this stage, it is possible to make a payment for the booking. However, If there are no costs, complete the booking process by selecting the Complete button. Click here to find out how to take a payment.

Stage 3: Complete

Once the Complete Workflow stage is selected this means that the end of the booking process has been reached. However, the Cancel option is still available on the ribbon if the booking needs to be cancelled for any reason. The user can also move back to previous stages if necessary.
