Internal server errors can occur when a user attempts to save a record but something unexpected interrupts the process before it can finish.
For example, a standard validation error would not cause an internal server area as the system would provide a warning before attempting to save.
If you get this error and it's preventing you from saving the record, try the following:
Check the data being entered.
This could be an invalid date or format, or potentially corrupted data being entered into the field.
Double check with other users.
Check if others are able to save the record.
Try other areas of the system.
Can you save in these areas or is it impacting everywhere?
