If you have any paid instalments for your pledge, you will not be able to delete the pledge. Instead, you will have to write it off.
Writing off a pledge allows you to end a regular payment or put the payment on hold.
📌 Note: This action is not permanent and can be reversed at any time.
Write off a pledge
To write off a pledge:
Click Finance, then Pledges.
Find the pledge you want to write off.
Click the Manage drop-down arrow and select Write Off.
Enter a reason for writing off the pledge and click OK.
Reinstate a line on a written off pledge
To reinstate a line on a written off pledge:
Click Finance, then Pledges.
Find the pledge you want to reinstate.
Click the Manage drop-down arrow and select Reactivate.
